Wal-Mart Contributes 5% Of Online Sales To Homosexual Group
Sign the pledge not to shop at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club on the Friday and Saturday following Thankgiving
Help recruit 1,000,000 to agree to not shop at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club (owned by Wal-Mart) on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving. Here's why:
In a show of support to help homosexuals legalize same-sex marriage, Wal-Mart has agreed to automatically donate 5% of online sales directly to the Washington DC Community Center for Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender People. The cash donation will come from ALL online purchases made at Wal-Mart through the homosexual group's Web site. This move follows Wal-Mart's joining the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and agreeing to give generous financial help to that group.
Every purchase made online for books, music, videos, clothing and accessories, children's clothing and toys, and electronics at the site will automatically send 5% of the sales to the homosexual group.
With this agreement, Wal-Mart made clear their support for the homosexual movement was a total commitment to the cause.
Many observers feel it would have been a wise business decision for Wal-Mart to remain neutral in the cultural battle over homosexual marriage. But this was an ideological decision by Wal-Mart, not a business decision. Wal-Mart decided to give the promotion of homosexual marriage their full support.
Take Action
1. Sign the petition to Wal-Mart letting them know you will be one of the 1,000,000 who will not shop at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club on the Friday or Saturday following Thanksgiving. Click here.
2. VERY IMPORTANT! Millions of Americans are not aware of Wal-Mart's support for homosexual marriage. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

Heck I'm even thinking about picking me up a 42" Widescreen Plasma HDTV with HD Tuner for $988 on Friday morning after Thanksgiving.
Back in November, 2002, The Culture and Family Institute issued a notice about potential problems Wal-Mart would face for standing up to the homosexual crowd. Indeed, radical homosexual activists led by the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF) targeted the retail giant for a national protest, partly because it will not give special protections to "transgender" (gender-confused) employees.
From the notice:
Pride At Work, a creation of the AFL-CIO, and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, are joining in protest of local Wal-Mart stores on November 21. The organizations want to pressure the nation's largest retailer to enact homosexual domestic partner benefits and include sexual orientation in its nondiscrimination policy. (The Task Force is a leftist "gay" group that is allied with sadomasochists and wife-swapping sexual "swingers.")
That was 4 years ago. Apparently, Wal-Mart and the GLBT crowd have resolved the problem.
Wal-Mart is the latest company that has heard our message about completing the circle of corporate diversity. No longer is just marketing to the LGBT segment enough. No longer is having a corporate non discrimination policy that includes sexual orientation enough. If a company is as truly committed to being a good corporate citizen in the LGBT space as they are with other diverse communities, then they need to buy back and invest in LGBT community-owned businesses like they do with other diverse segments. Their supplier base, those from whom they purchase goods and services, must look like the customer and employee base they have or are trying to attract.
How intolerant.
Excellent post.
Precisely. Does it occur to anyone that this is possibly a standard agreement Wal*Mart makes with other websites who sent traffic their way?
You have a point there. The northwest corner of Arkansas is known to be a hotbed of homosexuality.
So basically, 5% of the purchases made from Wal-Mart made via the homosexual's website will go back to that website. So 5% of homosexuals money will go back to thier organization?
What's the problem? Or are you planning on shopping at Wal-Mart FROM the homosexual org's website?
Get over it.
DING DING!! But you've got to realize, that anyone who doesn't fall in lockstep with blind hatred of any and all things homosexual must be boycotted.
Frankly, I'm sick of the homosexual agenda being shoved in my face constantly. And I'm equally disgusted with the anti-homosexual agenda too.
Actually I can't imagine buying anything on-line from Wal-Mart! :)
Thanks - I'll ping it out in a bit.
Here's another article, I've seen at least four in the last couple of days. More people need to see what Walmart supports.

Conservatives Mobilize Against Wal-Mart
Sorry, I'm not doing that, that's just ridiculous.
*GASP* Wal-Mart supports an affliate program that will kick back 5% to a website that sends them business.
THE HORROR!!!
You do that ... AFTER ... you have read post # 44. Then post your comments.
Attn: Scripter - it seems some folks don't want to give up shopping at Wal-Mart, even if it means supporting a Gay Marriage amendment and all the other ancillary aspects associated with it.
Here it is, not from this group, from the GLBT community itself ... Click here.
Totally authentic. Click here.
I think it's overwhelming for some folks to put it all together. The AFA is making a very valid point. As I see it, looking at the AFA with skeptism is to have a myopic view of the issues.
