I once got into an argument over who would win in a fight between Jack Bauer and Vic Mackey; we determined that Vic Mackey would win.
Jack would try to talk Vic into surrendering while Vic threatened to do nasty things to Jack. They would go back and forth like this for a while, neither one throwing the first punch. Then Shane would run up behind Jack and clobber him, and it would be all over.

Sweet - I always knew he was one of the good guys.
Speaking of blacklists, Chiklis was informally blacklisted for a number of years by certain cliques in Hollywood for his portrayal of John Belushi in the movie version of the Belushi bio Wired.
Chiklis was very good in his role, althogh the movie itself wasn't so great.
