I was reading this today PJ. I just can't believe there are actual people out there believing this crap. It reads like a spoof of wack-jobs, but they actually mean what they say!! God help us all if any of the candidates these looney liberals back get into office. They want DEMOCRATS and DEMOCRATS only?!? I think that's a scarier thought than the terrorist threats (hey - Bush should use clips of these idiots to keep Republicans in office).

Am I the only one, that in a small, evil part of their mind would LOVE for these nutballs to get into office, just to see the chaos they cause with their "everyone hates us, we need to build bridges and work with the world community" crap, so that we'd never have to worry about another liberal being elected again?!?

I usually just laugh when I visit DU. But today I am angry! If you go to their General forum, it is a whole page of conspiracy theories. There is even a thread that polls the readers to who believes the plot. The results are easily 2 to 1 DUmmies saying this is just propaganda to get Bush and Blairs favorability up.

These are the same a**holes that still say that Bush knew about 9/11 and refused to stop it. These are the same a**holes that would fill the pages over there with impeachment threads if God forbid, the US Government actually misses a threat and something happens.

They are complaining about the liquid restrictions, and the baby food taste tests as being ridiculous and demeaning, even though this particular plot apparently uses liquids as an explosive.

Even if this whole thing would turn out to be false (which I doubt), these cretins would rather bash America (it's not just President Bush any longer, it's all of America) than save one person.

OK rant over, I am just enraged that these people are my fellow Countrymen.

Do these morons not remember that western nations (including the U.S. and Britain) were being targeted and attacked long before troops ever set foot on Iraqi sand? This says it all right here. That people could actually believe, with a straight face and all sincerity, that foiling terrorist plots is some scheme to boost GOP approval ratings is beyond the pail.

And of course these are the same people that will criticize the WOT as being absolutely worthless, since we haven't caught bin Laden yet. So on one hand, they criticize success in the WOT, describing it as some plot to make the GOP look good, and then the other they criticize weaknesses in the WOT. One is left to wonder though, if the WOT is so finely orchestrated, why haven't we "caught" bin Laden yet? Wouldn't THAT be the biggest coup the GOP could ever hope for?
