Pure socialism. Sam and John Admas are turning over in their graves to hide their faces in shame.

"People" as opposed to what, animals? Oh, I see the headline at the source makes more sense.

A tax on business ends up hidden in higher prices. Business taxes are baaaaaad. They allow the gov to implement stealth taxes and stealth tax increase.

Sadly, they'll say that Mass. can accomplish this without rasing taxes on individuals (which is crap because we'll all pay higher prices due to business tax). Even sadder, some will believe them.

The way we collect tax IS THE problem. It allows the gov to collect waaaaay more than we realize.

Sam and John Adams are turning over in their graves to hide their faces in shame.

If they are doing so, it is so that the state legislature can kiss their posteriors.

Actually, they'll get coverage exactly the way they now get treatment - for free (on the taxpayer's arm). Supply: meet Demand.

Both men were consumate gentlemen...who were willing to stand resolutely and fight and die for their freedom and liberty. So, I would bet they are ashamed and wishing they were here to do something about it...but probably not doing what you suggest. That's just my opinion.

IMHO, if they had come back inot or been born in modern times, such things would have gone down to defeat long ago...either through civil, legiislative means are at arms, or they would be dead.

I would think that if any of the original members of the General Court of the Commonwealth were presented with a mandate such as has just been foisted on the populace of Massachusetts, they would treat it in a fashion scarcely at odds with their response to the Stamp Tax.

As I said...IMHO, if they were here today, these type of tom foolery and anti-liberty measures would already have been stopped, or those men would be dead.

I'll bet you're glad to be in Idaho. Even though I'm a lot closer to Mass., I can't see that sort of thing happening here in NH. Yet, that is. Oh well, eternal vigilance is the price of Liberty after all.

Sounds like a formula for Blue State bankruptcy. I hope Calif, NY, VT, etc. rapidly follow suit and drown in the dysfunction of the social undesirables they attract.
