I don't give to every charity that asks me for money, even if I fully support their work....in fact I ignore the vast amjority of requests for money. A lot of them come from political causes that I support....does that mean that I am against their cause...? Of course not, it means that I am only willing to give to a few charities and that means rejecting most of them.

I agree with you, and I feel that this whole thing should be moved over to Bloggers/Personal. When NOT donating to some random "Symposium" means that you are for the Muslims, then pretty much everyone would fit into that category.
