There probably won't be any MSM articles even AFTER it happens. Have you any idea how many "Symposia" occur in the greater DC area each week?
Not everything that folks like Epstein does warrants news coverage. Not every symposium deserves news coverage.

I agree that the case is overstated and that the "support" for CAIR may be an exageration but it would be good to investigate. The author should do the research to make his case.
And while the insurance companies might not choose to fund his symposium on terrorism, they should have some involvement with SOME symposium since it is something that will impact their business (unless they start to exclude acts of followers of Allah).

The way I am reading this, it looks like when this group went to book, they were full, there is no indication that they were 'bumped' for CAIR, on the contrary, CAIR may have booked early.
The other issue I have is this Jeff Epstein, albeit well intentioned, is behind this rucus over businesses that won't sponsor his event. Just because an ex- mortgage banker starts a website and has a symposium, he shouldn't 'strong-arm' businesses into supporting him. While he has a few well known speakers, most business would look at the list and shurg. Similar events I've seen on the subject had real high face value speakers such as Guilliani. That will attract businesses to sponsor, not a bunch of analysts.
No, I see this as just a way to try to strong arm businesses for donations by claiming if they don't they support terrorism. Very poor form.
If some terrorist scum slammed half a billion dollars' worth of my equipment into a building, destroying it and the building, you better believe I would find a million dollars to fund an effort to nail those bastards (legal or illegal). Sounds like we have a bunch of corporate executives who have so badly lost touch with the world and feel so insulated in their mansions and yachts that they've become numb to everything but the quarterly stock report and what the chairman of the board has to say. Pretty sad.
These companies can't find $10 to support or 2 minutes to respond to an anti-terrorism symposium but they have millions to spend on Congressional country club memberships, steak dinners, and college scholarships for their kids.
That is incorrect. Marriott explicitly cited security concerns about the anti-terror conference:

It would be interesting to have some examples of events these companies DO support -- like the fact that Mariott welcomes CAIR. It also occurs to me that any company run by leftists isn't going to support anything that features David Horowitz.
