MD Dems Look To Lead In “Election Day Irresponsibility.

Voting Early--and Often
Maryland swims against the election-reform current.

(Enough reason to get you to rip their heads off)

John Fund writes in the Opinion Journal, “It should normally be difficult to pick the worst state legislature in America, but Maryland’s is way out in front.” Democratic legislators there have “passed three election-related bills and again mustered the necessary three-fifths votes to overturn his vetoes. Together the election laws would so weaken safeguards against voter fraud as to make Maryland the nation’s prime example of Election Day irresponsibility…When voters are disenfranchised by the counting of improperly cast ballots or outright fraud, their civil rights are violated just as surely as if they were prevented from voting. The integrity of the ballot box is just as important to the credibility of elections as access to it. The Maryland lawmakers who are opening up new opportunities for fraud weaken the civil rights of all their constituents.”

There's only one thing to do.....massive fraud by conservatives. They will turn tail and unpass the laws so fast you wouldn't believe it.

Just a fantasy though, we're not the type. But it conjures up a good laugh.

I couldn'y disagree more with Mr. Fund! New York's state legislature is much worse.

Voter reform does mean something different in R and D circles. While Republicans want stricter controls to avoid fraud, Democrats would extend the franchise to inner city cockroaches, if we let them.

This should not be news to anyone living in Maryland.

The democrat machine is running scared with Steele in the race for Senate.

I predict they will rally more buses of "provisional voters" out of Baltimore City on election day, than Ray Nagin rounded up to evacuate New Orleans.

Please Dear Lord, let the honest people in Maryland rise up and vote in numbers enough to thwart the scam-takeover of the ballot box by one-party-rule thugs.

Just spread the rumor that the Greens are planning some fraud to unseat Democrats in more liberal districts.

My guess is that John doesn't get out to California much either.
