ABC Impeaches 'Commander in Chief' Posted by Greg Sheffield on January 30, 2006 - 14:51.
After posting impressive ratings when the show first debuted, ABC's presidential drama "Commander in Chief" has fallen in the ratings.
The New York Daily News reports that ABC will "shelve the show March 7 to make room for a new comedy, 'Sons & Daughters.'"
If they would make room for a Republican president, perhaps more people would be interested in watching the show.
Although Geena Davis received a Golden Globe for best drama actress, the vote of the American people was different.
In classic Hollywood speak, the show is being "put on hiatus," reports the Daily News.

Yeah, why not trying to have an ACTUAL Republican president in one of these shows?? Don't the networks want ratings?? You know we would all watch it if it was a right wing version of West Wing.

Why watch a show when you can watch the real thing?

No Doubt. This is a VERY TELLING development...the concept doesn't float nationwide and even many female Dim's I speak with say they don't want a woman President.

Oh, that would be hilarious, showing someone like Reagan making the liberals look like fools.
It will never happen!

Barbara Boxer must have written the scripts. The idea was OK, note the ratings when the show first aired, but, it moved so far from being realistic ,it became a joke.

"Sons & Daughters" will be filled with more liberal messages and insidious culture than Geena Davis ever portrayed.

"Sons & Daughters" will be filled with more liberal messages and insidious culture than Geena Davis ever portrayed. Then both will be cancelled.

Looks like the polls for both the real Hillary and the pretend Hillary are in the can!!
Hillary is simply not presidential material.

They will, it's a death-cycle. Executives never learn.

Yeah, right. The non-Fox networks would sooner put on an hour-long test pattern in prime time than a show that portrayed Republicans or conservatives in a positive light.

Even if CIC's President was a Republican, the show would still be on hiatus because it's boring.

Can't say I'm going to miss that stupid show. What a blatant attempt to shill for Hillary.
