This is satire. Not if you must explain it to the humor impaired. :-)
Wonderful break from the Miers War. Thanks.

Half the posters on FR are saying exactly this.
They should just shut their mouths and be thankful Bush is in office.""

Oh, I missed the word satire? ROTFL! I think I didn't have enough coffee this morning or something.

Harriet Miers was brazen and defiant, not asking President Bush to withdraw her nomination to the Supreme Court despite sharp criticism from some of Bushs conservative allies, practically telling conservatives to go take a flying leap.Funny -- wasn't her job as White House Counsel to protect President Bush? Now she has personally become the lightning rod for the most severe criticism -- by his own base! -- that her client has suffered since his inauguration.
It seems to me that she let her ego get in the way of protecting her client. This alone reflects poorly on her judgment.

Well camouflaged satire. The pity is that it's not very far at all from what a lot of Libs (And even some Conservatives) are saying.

He had me in the very beginning too.

Peggy Noonan almost turned in her Catholic Prayer Chaplets when Bush picked Harriet.

Well camouflaged satire. Yes it was very good.
This:
Ann Coulter, one of the biggest complainers, wished she had the experience that Miers has, fired McClellan. Miers has more gray matter in her pinky finger than Anns got in her entire cranium. And thats one large cranium. Shes nothing but a blowhard stick figure. Bring it on, Ann! Miers is ready! --- and a couple other lines weren't too well camouflaged, but I'll give him a B+.

The word SATIRE wasn't in the original post or, if it was, I'm blind and losing it. It got me good but, as I said, it was very stealthy satire, very similar to the real world, competely serious utterances of many on this subject.

ROFL! Very nice piece. I liked the stick figured Coulter. She does need a few bacon cheeseburgers and a couple of milkshakes.

Yeah, but to get to that obvious part you had to wade through stuff that some idiot might actually believe and write. See my post # 8. :-)
