Americans For Rice to run Ad on "Commander in Chief" (Vanity)
Americans For Dr. Rice ^ | 09/26/05 | section9

Posted on 09/26/2005 6:57:05 PM PDT by section9

Well, Freeps, we did it.

We bought a sixty-second block of time on tomorrow night's premiere of Commander in Chief on WMUR in Manchester, New Hampshire. This show appears to be a celebration of a liberal woman in power. We think that the show's producers have a good idea of who they'd like to see elected in 2008.

And so, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase our TV ad on behalf of Condi Rice. We're not so sure that the show's producers would agree with us, but it's our money. So, we've been answering press queries all day from the NY Post, CNN, NBC, ABC, and other folks. Anyway, tomorrow night at 9:00 on WMUR in Manchester.

We have it on good authority that a prominent Senator is not happy about this turn of events.

Since I won't be watching the liberal bilge from Whorelywood, I won't be seeing the ad. Is it online?

Interesting choice of stylized three-stripe flag in the logo!

Thank goodness they picked white-red-white instead of red-white-red.

The first time I saw the ad for that vacuous television show, I remarked to the wife, "Well, the Leftists are really trying to grease the skids for a Hillary run in '08!"

It's a four-stripe. Red-white-red-white.

I'm not sure she could win, but I do have to say that her legs looked attractive on some pictures posted on an earlier thread.

Yeah. The concept of the show is truly transparent, and truly disgusting. Let's make it illegal to run any political ads before an election (with the Supreme Clowns giving it their okay because ads are "mean"!!!), but it's perfectly okay to run some liberal propaganda "entertainment" celebrating how truly wonderful it would be to have a woman president... at a time when we're likely to have The Soul-less One running for just that office...

Good for the Condi people for rubbing it in their faces!

It's a four-stripe.

Well, uh, since you say so. I would hate to get into an incontenence contest.....

I have a hat and T-shirt so I'm doing my part. Mostly just to annoy the loonies since I never expected her to run.

Thanks for doing this. I wish I'd thought of it. Made me laugh to think about the response of the Hollywood crowd to have the table turned on them:)

Figured you'd cop a 'tude, so here's the proof.

Now pay attention...the first furl is further away; the second furl is closer (which is why the red strip is larger than the red strip in the first furl). The third furl is on the same plane as the first.

But you don't care about that, do you? You just wanted to make the three-stripe gripe and go uncontested.

Oh jeez...Geena Davis is getting to plug her new show on Monday Night Football. First the Chiefs give up 20 with no answer and now this. MNF is ruined for tonight.

ABC has Geena Davis in the booth with Al Michaels and John Madden pushing the show. Wearing pants, no less! And a mans shirt with a tie.

Geena Davis was just in the broadcaster's booth during Monday Night Football. She was promoting her new show.

I changed the channel for a couple of minutes.

Haven't watched prime time t.v. in many years but this is the one show I intend to see, if only once. I'm curious as to how the "first husband" will be portrayed.
