Jon Corzine goes queer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

August 23, 2005

US SENATOR JON S. CORZINE TO APPEAR AT JERSEY CITY LBGTI PRIDE FESTIVAL “ONE AMERICAN DREAM” SATURDAY, AUGUST 27 AT EXCHANGE PLACE -- 10,000 EXPECTED TO ATTEND

Jersey City Lesbian + Gay Outreach, Inc (JCLGO) is excited to announce the appearance United States Senator and New Jersey Gubernatorial Candidate Jon S. Corzine at the 5th Annual Jersey City LGBTI Pride Festival, Saturday, August 27, noon – 8 pm on the waterfront at Exchange Place. Senator Corzine will address the crowd somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00 PM.

Jersey City’s Pride festival comes at the end of a week-long series of events celebrating the LGBTI Community and is expected to be attended by over 10,000 people from across New Jersey and New York City. “We are thrilled that the Senator will be joining us to celebrate the unity and diversity of our community,” says JCLGO Executive Director, Walt Boraczek. “Our celebration this year, entitled ‘One American Dream’ is focused on, not what separates us from other communities, but what we, the LGBTI community, share with all people, the dream of Life, Liberty, and Happiness. I have tremendous respect for the Senator’s record on equality issues and am looking forward to hearing him speak.”

Pride Festival Details: Hip-Hop sensation GOD-DES will lead a stellar roster of entertainers including Mara Levi, Anthony Rodriguez, Dawn Lorentz & the Hudson Street Band, Daoneremmidy, Dujuana Neville, Marafanyi Percussione, Someone Different, SISTAS, Gary Paul Wright, New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus, The Times Squares, Kiahala Temple; while Co-Hosts Peppermint and Howard Richman keep the show moving with a touch of class and genuine wit. Dr. David Blackmore of New Jersey City University will give the keynote address and DJ Eddie Love will transform Exchange place into an open-air dance-fest, spinning today’s hottest tunes and the classics we all love.

One of the four pillors of the rat party, along with the crooked trial lawyers, the enslaved blacks, and the ultra-lucrative abortion industry.

They should at least have the guts to be honest, as in NO, and call it a Decadence Parade, as that is a more apt name for exactly what it is!

Well, it would be nice if one politician somewhere would pander to conservatives, sometime, ever.
