I could write as a kid. It was something I was somehow born with. I could write something that affected the whole class or team and not even outline the piece. Two of my English teachers in different schools came to my house years apart to tell my parents to make sure I became a writer. They did exactly that. Weird.
So I was not surprised to see my most recent MND column (www.mensnewsdaily.com/archive/m-n/newman/2005/newman080805.htm) had a powerful effect on thousands of readers, especially liberals. In the last 24 hours, I have received hundreds upon hundreds of tellingly hateful emails from liberals who disagree with me. It did not surprise me at all that some of those emails from “peaceful,” “anti-violence” liberals said in marvelously profane verbiage that they want me and my family dead. One fellow pulled a classic line from “The Exorcist” and applied it to my mother, saying she was performing certain sexual acts in hell.
Sheesh.
These emails again made it crystal clear that liberals say you deserve freedom of speech so long as your opinion is in sync with theirs.
However, disagree with them and they call for your murder and the murder of your family.
Nice.
It was not difficult researching Mrs. Cindy Sheehan’s activities and words of late. I mention some of these things to the liberals who wrote and they wrote back saying I was lying. It is sad to see people believe only what soothes them and refusing to believe that which runs contrary to their political beliefs. Their politics actually control them instead of them controlling their politics.
How weak.
Mrs. Sheehan now, in her own words, claims we are using nuclear weapons in Iraq.
She says her son fought for the “Fuhrer,” which makes her son a Nazi according to her logic. (U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan re-enlisted to go with his unit to Iraq and was awarded the Bronze Star posthumously for his heroic actions to save some of his men.)
She has totally changed her story since her first meeting with Bush and now wants another ahead of all the other moms. What hubris!
She supports terrorist supporter Lynne Stewart.
She supports Communist Party USA, which wants to overthrow our government and install a Marxist regime.
She also supports Code Pink, which was founded by Marxist Castro supporter Medea Benjamin.
She has publicly attacked the warfighting abilities of our military men and women and claims they are butchering Iraqi civilians. She claims this even though her son was one of those men.
She says it was wrong for us to remove a genocidal maniac (one million dead because of him) from power because, according to her, it was a legitimate government that was none of our business. Specifically, she said sacking Saddam was “unlawful and unprincipled.”
Wow.
And she has implied she hopes the Bush twins go to Iraq and die there.
Yes, Cindy Sheehan is quite a fine American and humanitarian.
So the tolerant, peaceful liberals want to kill me and my family.
Tactical note to wannabe-murderers: When you come for me and my family, bring friends.

Yes, you trash-talking liberals might eventually kill me and my family, but I assure you we won’t be the only ones bleeding out on the deck. I am always armed and am very, very proficient with those weapons.

Liberals are sick! Cindy Sheehan is a trouble maker and is going to do something irrational. Don't be surprised if on Thursday she does something to get herself arrested! She is just looking for that. She is getting all her orders from Code Pink and they are notorious for getting into trouble. Watch and see. How else would she supposedly know she is going to get arrested on Thursday?

ON another note, how was Saddam not "our problem"? His regime remained in power only because we should have deposed him in 1991 and didn't. A lot of people died because of that. Also, she doesn't mention the UN blood for oil vouchers scam : HER tax dollars paying a psychopath and his sons to terrorise, rape and murder at will, while paying Pali terrorists $25 grand apiece to blow up little kids in their beds.

I just had an encounter with a couple of libs that made my blood boil, which is a perfect example of your point.
I call on several retail stores in my work. Well, a couple of cashiers were talking about how the President should be plugged, that everyone should see Farenheit 9/11 and that President Bush knew that 9/11 was going to happen and allowed it to happen so he and his buddies could make money on oil.
It is my practice to avoid discussing politics, or at least debating politics, while on the job, but I couldn't help but blurt out, "You don't believe Farenheit 911, do you"?
They went on and on about how F911 captured Bush on film so it therefore must be true. When they went on to say he knew about 9/11 and allowed it to happen, I said, "You don't really believe that, do you?" The reply, "Yes, because my Kerry told me so."
They went on to say the military hates the President, and I said, "Our troops love the President," to which one said, "Your troops love him, but our troops hate him." She kept repeating that, stressing the difference between "your troops" and "our troops," probably referring to the fact that they're black and I'm white.
I dropped it at that point because these people were not open to facts that challenge their beliefs.
It's really a shame what the libs did to you. Liberalism is simply a mental illness, a cult of self righteous sanctimony and hate.
And this poor woman , Sheehan, is being manipulated. It would not surprise me that ,in her mental illness, she literally immolates herself. The leftists will gladly supply the gas and matches.
You should write your next article on those very emails you received.
Can you give me a link to this info showing her support of the hung effigy?
