Consider this hypothetical situation: First, I ask you to sell me your car. You like the car and even though I've offered a fair price, you wish to keep it and so you decline. In response, I put a gun to your head and take your car. Does it matter that I also stuffed a check into your pocket for the fair market value of your car? If you didn't want to sell it, it's still theft. The fact that I paid you for the car is completely irrelevant. The sole determining factor is your unwillingness to sell.

Okay, this is my first time doing this (I'm a newbie to F/R) so hopefully I'm getting it right...
Isn't odd that the Left is supposed to be the protector of the common citizen, and yet the lefties on the Supreme Court have just wiped out another group of property owners?
And why aren't we hearing from Bush or congress?
And... I wonder how much eminent domain abuse Pres Bush engaged in while he was running the TX Rangers baseball team? I'm not accusing, just wondering.
Anybody know?

I'm wondering about Republican silence as well on the travesty of justice that was the recent SC decision.

Where are our elected conservatives?! Or is this another illegal immigration-type issue, where Republicans are looking after their own pockets and power-base first?
