Kerry's been working behind the scenes quietly with other Senators to get them to join him on a letter from the Senate requesting answers on DSM and the Iraq timeline, as a companion letter to Conyers letter in Congress...... Why you feel the need to crap on Kerry when you aren't up to speed on what's happening is just typically immature nonsense meant to diminish a man who has investigated and exposed more government corruption than lawmaker in modern history.

I found this over at Lt. Smash's blog, and it blows the DSM theory out of the water, as if it needed any more discrediting.

This was also in the memo:

On the first, CDS said that we did not know yet if the US battleplan was workable. The military were continuing to ask lots of questions.

For instance, what were the consequences, if Saddam used WMD on day one, or if Baghdad did not collapse and urban warfighting began? You said that Saddam could also use his WMD on Kuwait. Or on Israel, added the Defence Secretary.

Now, if Bush, Blair, etc knew Iraq had no WMD, and were "fixing" the intelligence to say he had them, then why were they still worried about Iraq using WMD against coalition forces?

To make a long story short, it's a snowjob:

1) The Boston Globe and the LA Times won't show the records they got, so all we have are their unsupported word.

2) Kerry won't show a copy of the SF 180 he signed, meaning there was no proof the release of records was general and not selective.

3) There were other technicalites that raised doubts, but a freeper with a better understanding of the process than me would have to explain them.

Ummmmmm...maybe, but then again, maybe not. Questions still remain. Remember, with Kerry, appearance is everything.

You know, they could have more than 30 or 250 or even 500 people at this "DSM" rally this afternoon. But that won't be because of the drawing power of Pied Piper Pitt (although if it happens, watch for him to take his share of the credit). If they just relied on Pitt and PDA and DU, they would probably draw in the several dozens. But I think the libs have a few of their "heavier hitters"--e.g., Mikey More, a true "heavy"--promoting this thing. We'll see. The DUmmie Ants must be marching to Lafayette Park even as we speak.
