It is not often that I agree with what is in the San Francisco Gate (sfgate.com), but I will admit that I disagree with the Bush Administration regarding the federal government persuing obscenity charges like the one that is chronicled by Mark Sherman.
According to Sherman, there have been forty federal obscenity convictions since W. took office, while there were only four under the eight years of Slick Willie. Alberto Gonzales, like John Ashcroft are not turning a blind eye like Janet Reno did.

It's top PRIORITY, not the ONLY thing to do. You don't throw out everything else just to concentrate on foreign threats.
I also disagree with the Bush administration on this obscenity issue. The definition of obscenity is almost defined as anything that offends someone else. There are first amendment issues involved and as a conservative, I don't like government prosecuting people for simply offending someone else. Smacks of big government to me. Spend the time chasing people that actually physically hurt other people or intend to.
