Five years ago, on Holy Saturday, a small boy was the center of a divided nation's attention. Elian lost the battle but the memory of his brutal abduction played a pivotal role in the 2000 Presidential election. Something tells me that Terri Schiavo's sad life and death will play a far more important role in future events than anyone could imagine at this time.
At least Elian has a chance at life. I wonder what has become of him. Has their been anything in the news about him lately? I suppose even if he were now living in poverty and slavery in wonderful Cuba, the lamestream media wouldn't report it. Or they would twist the facts to make it sound like life in Cuba is dream.
