Thanks Jack...I think this one article did more to finally give me a sense of 'why' then any of the empty letters I received from the president on down...
She's still somewhat upset and I think "blaming", but she'll get better.
Side note: Don't you just love when Newt Gingrich is on Hannity and Colmes and hands Alan his a$$ on a plate? (he's on now)
I'll have to check the rerun. Whatever reservations I have about Gingrich he's a smart, logical man. Colmes has ONE schtick: "The Republicans say don't do this, but I have this quote from one Republican who did that--how do you explain this inconsistency????"
I just have to laugh when Newt says, "Now Alan ... " and then dissects him.

I used to love to watch Rush's tv show. He had some great stuff! I wish he was still doing it. That particular clip was just so unbelievable. The man has no SHAME.
Graduated from Bentonville High School, Bentonville, Arkansas in 1975. I'd forgotten about it until my mother reminded me. Both of my parents are still staunch Southern Democrats. They're barely talking to me ... Republican and converted to Catholicism.

That's hard...Southern democrats are loyal. Just get them a copy of Zell's book, maybe they'll come around. I live in Alabama and they are what we call yellow dog democrats. Their daddy and momma's were dem, grandparents, etc. so they will be dem. But when you discuss politics they lean more to the right than left.
HAHAHA ... yeah, I was having a hard time keeping it together. I couldn't pass that one up because they get so condesending.
That's what I don't understand about my parents. My dad has a house full of guns, so you can't tell me he's in favor of gun control. My mother goes to a Southern Baptist church twice on Sunday and Wednesday night, so you can't tell me she's in favor of abortion and same-sex marriage. Yet, she almost spits when she says President Bush's name.
I'm learning to just keep my mouth shut. Even at Christmas dinner, my mother started in on the evils of the Republican party. My dad finally told her to shut up. HAHAHA
God rest Jeremy's soul.
