I had some time this afternoon and decided to see how long it would take to get banned in DU. I was surprised that I was able to hold out for quite a long time. Whew, talk about pirana!

Anyway, there was a thread about the "recent" report of FAA warnings concerning the 9/11 hi-jackings. I had remembered that I'd read an article concerning information John Kerry had received in May, prior to the 9/11 attacks. I wondered how the DUmmies would take that information. Wow, I wasn't wrong about their response.
My post starts at #98. My screen name was sort of lame, but it was the best I could do at the time. I'd had that name for a while and decided I'd take it down in a blaze of glory.
It was fun and there sure do get worked up over there.

It was a really hoot. They really get worked up. One response make me blow coffee through my nose. "Why is this article about Kerry and not Bush?" ... HAHAHA. They were incredulous.
DU seems a pretty hopeless environment. . .but then; a seed planted. . .you never know; might just awaken some dormant intelligence over there. Congratulations for taking them on. . .and lasting. ..but for however many; and if only, a few good posts. . .
I was able to last for a few hours. Keep getting bolder, so I knew it was a matter of time before I got banned.
I'm constantly surprised at how negative they are. It's a very depressing place.
I hate to even go there to look, but I'll do it for my country.
Well, I thought I'd take one for the "team". It's always a hoot to have something to laugh at them about. And it's a double bonus when one of them comes over here and runs back there screaming about us laughing at them.
It's very dangerous to post vanities from the DUmp when you're not yet 3 weeks old.

Actually, I wanted to get back at them. They posted my a picture and personal information about my cousin, who was killed in Iraq on Jan 4. I registered and posted a message asking them to take his name and picture out of their thread. I didn't ask them to remove the entire thread, just his picture. I told them I knew that my cousin wouldn't want his name and photo used in their cause. I was banned and my post was removed. However, they never took his picture out of the thread.
This is a tribute to Sgt. Jeremy McHalffy, Arkansas National Guard. Rest In Peace, Jeremy.

I got flamed over there a couple of months ago. I have a new ID now but never go there anymore. It's vulger and moronic.
