McCain in 08?

Posted on 01/27/2005 8:34:23 PM PST by DixieOklahoma

What do you think? here are my questions i need answers for:

1) Is McCain pro life?

2) Is McCain against affirmative action?

3) Is McCain for social security reform?

4) Where does he stand on immigration?

I ask this because McCain would be a shoe-in for president with all the independents that support him also.

1. Pro life I believe

2. Don't know about Affirmative action.

3. Seems undecided on Social Security.

4. Favors amnesty for illegals. Probably the issue on which I disagree with him most.

Where does he stand on tax cuts?

The AWB?

Outrageous government spending?

Man doesn't stand a chance. He's been way too vocal and disloyal. Only the democrats want McCain.

No possible way. McCain is anti-Christian and pro-gay. I would never vote for him. Not even against Hillary. I'd just stay home.

I agree. The Republican party would never put him as their candidate. The man is a loose cannon and too liberal on many issues. Plus he has that Savings & Loan scandal haunting him, keeping him from higher office i'd bet.

McCain's position is whatever it has to be to become President. He is a sleazy politician, a chameleon of the highest order. Certainly a make-believe Republican and conservative. As such, I personally classify him as a liberal, and again, more interested in the Presidency than our country (especially with his position on illegal immigration)...which clearly marks him LIBERAL.

My take: he will push for the liberal Dem slot in 2008.

There is so much this leftist back-stabing mush mind does that seems to escape the observation of those whom are thought to have brains. I guess the next logical step is to consider this Jack-Ass for President in 08.

Better make hellacious gainners this next 4 years because there is a lot to destroy after 08.

McCain for Prez?

NEVER!!!!!!!

He is a total wus when it comes to illegal immigration, he is a blatant Drug Warrior, he has a temper that is outta this world, he is an internationalist one-worlder who has little respect for US sovereignty (as a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations...his buddies in that invitation-only group include both Senators Kerry [Bob & John], Richard Holbrooke, Presidents Clinton, George H.W. Bush, & Carter, Sen. Lieberman, Newt Gingrich, VP Cheney, & so many others it sickens me!). He also has little respect for the 2nd Amendment, &, along w/ Sen. Feingold, is the one who trampled free speech rights w/ the Campaign Finance Reform bill. HE AIN'T NO CONSERVATIVE!

I have a much better option for '08: how about former Representative J.C. WATTS????

Mr. Watts is a class act, a very intelligent & humble man, a decent conservative, & has very strong Christian values. He also has a personality that really shines, & an incredible smile to boot!

No, PLEASE do not "just stay home". There WILL be other, more conservative candidates running for Prez in '08...chances are, tho, that they won't be in the GOP.

The candidates who have a much more principled stance against big government & US sovereignty will be found in the Constitution, Libertarian, & Independent American parties.

The GOP is no longer a safe haven for true conservatives anymore...don't be afraid to LOOK ELSEWHERE!

MCCain is pro-death, as is Guiliani. These two will never make it through the primaries.

You know how it is with the politicians, they HAVE to run twice for president before they learn they can't be elected.
