I actually have some sympathy for this one - running around all over town maintianing banners that direct people to Bev's site. You should have stood up and taken your money out of the donation jug - explaining loudly why Bev is a fraud.

Also - FOIA requests have nil costs. Everything is absorbed by the feds (I have done several). The only cost you might incur is when new software code is required to reference the info. Bev should provide reciepts for postage, envelopes, gas, etc.

IRS needs to check into this. Anyone have a good POC?

That's what I thought: the FOIA request is basically free. WHY did all these DUpes think that Bev needed their money? I could go out and file an FOI request for nothing. Why would I send $50 to a snakeoil saleswoman?

I'm more than a bit confused. I've done a number of FOIA requests as well. Perhaps it is a difference in what we're requesting - typically my requests come back with hundreds of pages of photocopies (and a tiny segment of the check I sent in.) Are you doing FOIA requests for minimal amounts of data?
