Will anyone offer family help to these poor Lib's (DU Suicide Watch)

Myself I voted for the Constitution Party but I must admit the forming suicide / mass migration pacts forming on DU are too funny to describe. The latest is the Breakup of families over politics.

I got a response on my blog that could have been a page out of one of the discussions by leftie journalists about the values issue this morning.

There was a post here on FR last night that was a screen grab of the DU posts during those heady hours of early Nov 2 when the exit polls were calling the election for Kerry. The DUmmies were mocking and parodying FR posts, and they did it quite well. It belied an obsession with FR that was quite creepy--those people spend more time over here than they do over there! Their ability to parrot that which they've seen, read, and heard was commendable, but really sad. It was an obsession, to be sure, but showed no ability to think for one's self. They simply regurgitate what they ingest and pat themselves on the back for the smelly mess they've created.

I grew up in a very liberal family. My mother and uncle are raging liberals and we have had some pretty interesting thanksgiving dinners. But I still love them and wouldn't even think of severing my ties....not ever. I have refrained from phoning them since Nov 2 to let them get over it. When I do talk I will not bring up the election. If they do, so be it.

Wow. Could be my house. Not a bad approach.

Quit bellyaching you DUmba$$!!!

If you had any semblance of a spine and any sense of history whatsoever, you'd realize that you're now a MINORITY PARTY! Say it with me now.....MINORITY...PARTY.

And for good reason. After a good half century of gerrymandering every sacred institution this nation holds dear, the electorate decided to tell your sorry a$$ed party to pound sand. You and the rest of your strung out, sedated, paranoid socialist buddies may like seeing everyone as poor and wasted away as the rest of you are, but we don't. We gave you your chance to run this country--as you all would put it--60 F$##@ING YEARS A F#$@$#ING GO. And you treated it like it's a new drug or fad or cheap whore looking for a good f*ck.

Sometimes wars have to be fought whether you want them to be fought or not. Sometimes jobs have to be eliminated. Sometimes you have to do things that suck. That's life. The quicker you realize that (and that the world doesn't revolve around the Democratic Party), the better off you'll be.

If you're so damn set on cutting ties with your "Repuke" friends and family, well, it's your loss. If it were me you were cutting ties with, you were not a true friend of mine to begin with. A REAL friend doesn't shun you because they might be different from you. As for your family, they love you despite the fact that you're being a whiny little brat.

Furthermore, if you are actually considering suicide because of a Presidential election (!) then you lead one shallow existance. So, please, for all involved, get a life!

I know a Christian who is a rock-solid conservative, both in politics and theology. A few years back, his father sent him a letter telling him that he was going to have a sex change. The son didn't hesitate at all, but called his parents and told them he needed time to figure things out, but the bottom line was that blood is blood, and the people you love are the people you love. They get along fine, and things are as much like they were before as they can be. He didn't even mind when he found out that he'd been the last one to know, because they were unsure how someone with his beliefs would react. I can't blame them for thinking that way; plenty of people who are far more "open-minded" than he freak out like you wouldn't believe, they just switch into hate mode and lose it entirely.

And meanwhile...these DU pukes are ready to ditch their relatives because said relatives decided that they didn't want to ditch a president (with the same economic performance as Clinton) in a time of war just because some secularist bigots think he reads the Bible too much and looks like a chimp.

These people should all be committed, and started on a heavy thorazine regimen. Preferably the suppository version.
