Exactly. Bush's team needs to get him off the campaign on Thursday and Friday. No more appearances on the day of the debate.

Listen I want bush to win just as much as any of you.... But I've watched the movie clip over and over, and it is possible it was notes... but it's also possible it's a pen that he used to write with. You don't want this to grow legs unless we know 99.9% that it appears to be notes. Try to find more movie clips from other cameras before you make a final choice whether or not he cheated... The last thing we need is to blow up a story really big only to have it shoved back in our faces... remember what hapened to Dan Rather. :) Freep Safe.
I have the debate recorded on my dvr and there is no question that it is a piece of paper. Kerry starts to unfold it then flips it in order to open it to be readable. As he does, he looks at W who is making a quick note on his paper placed previously on his lectern. W makes a quick look over and seems to give a very brief facial hint that he realizes Kerry's violation.
It doesn't matter what they were. He should have known better, since he was told that there would be a split screen.

I'll ask again. Why the hell did Baker agree to having Jim Lehrer, an avowed liberal leftist, be the moderator? That alone was asking for a 'fix' to be in. What else can you expect from leftists? They are all dishonest opportunists.

If Mr. Kerry had notes, and it became known, it would hurt him.
But I've looked at three different videos multiple times, and I can't say precisely what he pulled from his pocket. Some folks insist it was a piece of paper. To me, it's pretty indeterminate.
Could be a piece of paper.
Could be a pen.
Could be a rabbit's foot, for all I know.
Without something conclusive, it does no good to introduce this in to the conversation.
