LOOK FOR THE UNION ***HOLE
Here's the deal with this photo. The union goon on the left is basking in the glory of tearing up the Bush/Cheney sign of the little girl now crying on her poppa's shoulders.
After becoming one of Yahoo's most blogified photos of the day yesterday, the men in pajamas got a rare concession from a union official yesterday:
Statement from the General President Regarding the Events in Huntington, WV
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades believes in the fundamental right for civil discourse, freedom of speech and activism to support our candidates and issues.
What happened in Huntington, West Virginia yesterday is an affront to everything we, as a union, pride ourselves to represent. We extend our apologies to the Parlock family, especially Sophia, for the distress one of our overzealous members caused them.
I have personally taken steps to address this issue internally, and will take immediate disciplinary action to the full extent allowed under U.S. Department of Labor regulations and the constitution of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.
It is my hope that this incident reminds all of our members that every last citizen in this country has the right to express his or herself freely. Not one single one of us has the right to tell them otherwise.
General President James A. Williams The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades
Yeah, OK great. No stonewalling, no spin, record time. But I still call bulls*** on this one.
You see, the name of the father and little girl in the picture have been widely noted by the news media, the union, and the outraged, yet the identity of the asshole from the International Brotherhood of Child Traumatizers has been kept a bigger secret than who gave Dan Rather the bogus memos. Why can't we know his name? Did he have sex with Kobe Bryant or something?
Good question!

There are maybe 6 FR threads on this picture and issue. Try using search.
If it weren't for interfering with Republicans' 1st Amendment rights at public events, a lot of these Union Goons wouldn't work at all.
the guy is a coward like his hero/comrade Kerry..
Hey Slim, hope all is well. Tell Larry we miss him terribly here in Kennesaw and wish him God's speed.
As the father of a 5, 3 and 1 year-old, this makes me sick.
Let's publish this punk's home name and home address. I'd like to stand outside his house with a sign that says:
Trying Ripping this sign:
Girlieman
At 6' 275, (with a 400lb Bench press), I can assure you that the union thug would be the one crying.
Do you think it's OK if we started a bounty on his identity, so he can then be sued or even arrested (he violated their civil rights, clearly).
I'll offer $50 reward right now to anyone who turns him in.
DUers are trying to say that the thug is an older son of Parlock's. They're evidently trying to get the union to pull their apology.

...trying valiantly to find a way to protect his little sister from the union thugs, IMHO.
Just for the record, Yahoo doesn't write its own news stories; its just a repository. That's an AP article.
Yes, that's the girl's brother. I believe there are more photos that show other people there holding signs up into the little girl's face. What a bunch of animals! Wait a minute, I take that back. As an animal lover that is an insult to animals. What a bunch of neanderthal creeps.
It would certainly be interesting if someone were to call the airport police at 304-453-6165 and ask why this gentleman was allowed to leave the airport grounds without being IDed, and what attempts are being made by local authorities to track him down.
This is the first time I've seen the statement from the union. I think the thread is worthwhile and glad it was posted.
Will they tell us what kind of action was taken against the goon?
