When I was a small boy, I fought just about every major battle of World War II in the woods behind my house. Many times, I caught my black lab, Prince, doing advanced reconnaissance work for the axis. I attacked secret nazi submarine bases constructed on a brook that ran alongside my home, threw grenades at enemies hidden behind an old picnic table, and made heroic last stands until dinnertime enabled me to declare victory and bring the boys back home.
I was good at making things up. Just like the "journalists" at CBS News.......
