But you are right. Some of the people making the point that her public denial doesn’t make sense. If it’s really a fake, why draw attention to it? You’d probably work the legal angle to go after anyone who is hosting/sharing it.
It’s like when people get drunk and say something embarrassing on twitter/X and then the next day claim they were hacked.
If it’s really her, she would probably think the only way to save face is to claim it’s fake. She is probably wrong, and should have let it fly mostly under the radar instead of calling attention to it, but that’s the reaction most public figures have to something embarrassing. Deny.
