Some have been trying their darndest to vilify Ron DeSantis.
Apparently, a Category 5 Shoe-Gate is the worst they can think to say about him so far. If the worst that can be said about Ron D. is that he stands accused of “Standing While Short!”, that’s not really so bad at all.
No, he's done far worse to himself. He's opened his big mouth, and stuck his foot in it. Claiming Trump is privileged, yet it was DeSantis who got the State Legislature to change the law so he didn't have to resign to run. He also got them to change the Sunshine Laws so no one will have access to any information about his past and future trips, meetings, etc. It's all a big secret now. He just said tonight that he would continue funding the U.S. proxy war with Ukraine, has said that a President should have had military experience to be President, and just today, with his little pea-brain legal mind, says that the GOP won't nominate Trump if he is convicted. How does he know that unless he's already been in talks with them? Looking out for himself once again no doubt. He's a shallow self-serving prig. The jokes about his shoes are a comedy intermission for all the stupid comment disasters he's already made.
But that’s NOT the worst thing that can be said about Ron D. That’s his problem. He’s dropped down to the low teens/high single digits. And that was all before any of the boot stuff ever came out. You want other reasons for why a President DeSantis is a bad idea? Just browse through the threads about him from the last 4 months and you’ll find plenty of them.
