Two people in black wolf costumes got into an altercation in Huntington Beach on Saturday after a man who was recording them refused to leave - with some commenters suggesting that he is a scorned ex-lover of one of the participants.
The incident, which was caught on video, happened at a Sunset Beach Bonfire 'furmeet' where hundreds of Furries were out in full force.
It appeared to start after a man was filming the group and had his phone in the face of one member who warned him to leave.
The man in the furry costume then struck him in the head with a megaphone before he was tackled to the ground by another person. A second furry jumped into help his friend and they continued to grapple on the sand.
In the clip, the furry in the black wolf costume is seen using a megaphone to shout at the man recording: 'Leave or we will make you leave.'
He then adds 'you can let go of this' before he suddenly hits the man, wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and a cap, in the shoulder with the amplifying device.
The furry then strikes him in the head before another beachgoer, dressed in a white t-shirt and blue shorts, tackles him to the ground.
A second furry in a similar costume gets involved in the altercation and the four men continue to struggle on the sand in front of stunned onlookers.
Others are seen trying to break up the fight and one person tells them all to 'chill out'.
The man who was recording the group before the fight is heard screaming 'oh my god' while on the ground.
He is still filming and says to the camera: 'This what Furries do to you.'

I'm sure getting attacked while filming was the furthest thing from his mind.

I guess if you are weird, you are weird.
Not sure hitting someone with a hard & heavy plastic megaphone is an appropriate response to having a camera shoved in your face. Then again, not sure why someone would want to push a cell phone camera in a weird person’s face.
Up until this incident, there has never been documented attack of a man by a wolf.

Good Lord, most 10 year old girls I know are tougher than that. My daughter was getting thrown from horses at that age and never whimpered one bit.
The funniest thing is that, after the video ends, there’s a news clip about some woman calling 911 to report her daughter was attacked by a black bear. Talk about a PERFECT juxtaposition!

So these furries were “out in full force” having a “furry meetup” on a public beach. And no one here is objecting to this?
You wanna take the kiddies to the beach with weird fetishists putting on displays? You wanna have a nice stroll on the beach in the moonlight with your honey while these furry fetishists make a big scene?
Does no one remember how we were told that it’s no one’s business what people do behind closed doors in their bedrooms? Maybe so, but it looks like there is no respect for public spaces in some places.
Sorry, keep your weird sexual proclivities in your bedrooms. We don’t need them in our public spaces.

There is something very off about adults running around in
animal costumes.
I have heard that it’s a sexual fetish thing, which not only would make sense but, sadly, wouldn’t surprise me at this point in our moral and cultural slide into debauchery.
How embarrassing for the whole world to see what America has turned into.
They belong back in the closet with their costumes.
All furries should be euthanized.
