Starting in October, average benefits for food stamps — officially known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP — will rise more than 25 percent above pre-pandemic levels.
Those of us who don't get food stamps won't be getting any 25% raises in salary, and Biden's inflation is driving food prices up for us.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said that with the change, the U.S. “will do a better job of providing healthy food for low-income families.” Unadulterated BS.
I’ve lived (unfortunately) in welfare towns and seen what people buy with their free government money aka EBT/food stamp cards and eating healthy is NOT on their radar.
Not even close.

I was just at the grocery store. A fat spanish speaking woman with five kids in tow bought a whole cart full of food with EBT. Disgusting. I am so sick of paying for this crap.
