Almost NOBODY leaves Congress unless they’re about to get caught for something. Chaffetz talks really big now, in support of Trump, but, not unlike Trey Howdy, he was all hat and no cattle as far as doing anything about Trump’s lying enemies. All for show -— a sound and fury, signifying nothing. Odd...Gowdy was another one who abruptly quit. I don’t trust either one as far as I can throw a bull elephant.

I think they were invited to retire due to potential dirt being revealed. All part of the 2018 house takeover plan IMHO.

In Chaffetz’ case he was wanting to run for Senate but was apparently told it was Romney’s turn, so he just in a huff left politics.

Recall that the Awan Bros. scandal evaporated, a scandal involving solely democrat email & computer networks.
I postulated long ago that the scandal - at the time debunked as ‘xenophobic’ & ‘conspiracy-theory’ - exposed an influence operation and that the investigation was quashed because it would have exposed a parallel scandal targeting republicans.
Becerra went on to play a senior role in CA government which later saw multi-billions in alleged graft surrounding the virus, and now poised to head up HHS under this faux ‘crisis’.
Makes you wonder what, exactly, was on that server that disappeared. Also makes one wonder if there’s any validity to talk of an election server overseas since that story, too, was quickly quashed (and ironically coined ‘conspiracy theory’ as well. Here, too, at FR).
All this antifa/blm cultural strife has accomplished is to make me a racist. No, not a racist against blacks...racist against the ones clearly aligned against the US: The Chinese. Furthermore, I’m angered at the continued elevation of rhetoric critiquing the CCP while admonishing any critique of the Chinese people: Until the mainland Chinese rise up against the CCP, they are ALL one & the same: CCP.
Same goes for all tainted by CCP money, republicans & all.
