Patrick Philbin today was very low key- but wow did his speech pack a wallop IF the republicans have enough spine to actually follow through and dismiss this sham of an impeachment because it is an illegitimate impeachment
He made the case that what the left are trying to do is exert power over the office of the Prettiness by basically saying “We have sole power of impeachment, and when we demand that you hand over information, you had better do so or we will charge you with obstruction of justice, and we will impeach you without due process, because again, we have sole power of impeachment
Phlibin made the excellent point that the house erroneously, and illegally, believe that this means that they have power over everything associated with impeachment, including power over executive privilege, and he pointed out, very expertly, that this was Exactly what our founders sought to protect against, one party exerting power over another without any checks and balances
In case ya’ll missed it- His time this afternoon was well worth a listen to- again, he was low key but very powerful and spot on correct- This sham impeachment is illegitimate and should be dismissed immediately- Everything the left did was against established rules- because again- they believed they had absolute power over everything- Even over the courts and the4 process of subpoenas
