You should be in a good old-fashioned Easter Vigil, where everything gets incensed, including the priest, the concelebrants, the deacon, every person in the pews, the Gospel book, the altar, the water for Baptism, -- everything.
Because ---we are adoring books, pews, or even unbelievers who just happen to be in attendance (it could have been you!) --- right?
Actually, it means that persons, places, and things are being dedicated and set apart for the service of God.
I dig the Fatima statues, though. Is that cool or what? Even our statues adore statues! Fersure!

Nice try Don-O!
I’m a Saved Saint by the Blood of Christ (works free - Ephesians 2:8-9)
Acts 2:21
John 6:29
Romans 10:9-10
Romans 10:13
You should try it sometime. The yoke of works saved nobody.
The statuary is beautiful, in an art sense. Fatima is a fraud by the Catholic Church embellishing on a UFO and demonic visitations. You can find the truth if you look for it, regarding the Fatima hoax, but I am convinced you do not want truth you want to lend credulity to fraudulent stuff. The eyewitness reports of attendees at Fatima expose the fraud. It is however interesting that the eyewitness reports were written down by the local Priest and are in the archives at Fatima, and expose the fraudulent hoax being perpetrated by the Catholic Church.
Better yet, go tell me that unless the word "latria" is used then what is described using other words (such as Proskunētēs Proskyneō/Proskuneō Sebō/Sebomai) cannot be worship. Go ahead and play word games to deny what Scripture reveals.
They adore felt banners.
The fallacy of false equivalence - unless one is kneeling before a banner and praising the entity it represents in the unseen world, beseeching such for Heavenly help, and making offerings to such, and giving glory and titles and ascribing supernatural attributes to such which are never given in Scripture to created things (except to false gods), including having the uniquely Divine power glory to hear and respond to virtually infinite numbers of prayers individually addressed to them.
