Well, I was using the phrase “judge, jury, and executioner” as a term of art. Custodian works for me but, again, I can only act on the behalf of the Priest who is the rightful authority in this regard.

Some images resolve on my iPad that don't on my PC and visa versa.

You're hardly old.

However, if we believe the faithful are in a "just war" then these statues may be fair game..but I am very hesitant to declare war on Mother Church right now

I don’t see a problem with a war against the paganism which has been unlawfully brought into Holy Mother Church.

These men corrected a wrong by tossing out pagan idols.

Additionally, these are brave men who need our prayers for protection from the evil men who are responsible for unlawfully bringing pagan idols into the Church.

The Mary of the catholic church teachings is not the Mary of the Bible...although catholics do ‘believe’ that she is as well as what they are indoctrinated to believe about her.

Those among other things. The list is very extensive of what the RC MUST do in order to be saved.

Indeed, THAT is the way how to address these leaders. You just KNOW the Pope was STEAMING at this whole episode....the "serenity and detachment" spin was just that.

You, my good FRiend have written your bishop and know better than us bench-warmers what it means to "take action." Further, if the bishop is OK, I would not unleash a ridicule-laden Tweetstorm on him. In addition, I wouldn't dream of unloading on my Parish Priest about Pope Francis - he's not to blame (and he's an ok guy).

But for special people, the tools of ridicule and satire...they hit them in their Achilles and it tends to madden them, revealing their true selves. And they don't WANT to demask, but they can't help themselves.

Imagine being in line to meet the current Pope...it's your turn, and while he's smiling you say, in Spanish, "Viganò asks 'where is your mercy?' " You just KNOW that smile will give way to anger that will not abate..and you will live rent-free in his head for a while.

Now imagine scores of people like that, every week, at the General Audience...calling out "Viva Viganò" and "where is your mercy?"

Over time, this would have a MUCH greater impact than throwing a few ugly if not abominable wood carvings into the Tiber. And you wouldn't have to break the law.

The Catholic Church gave you the Scriptures. Both OT and NT. If you are using the kjv you do not have a complete Bible nor the complete word of God.

You are in error: the Holy Spirit gave us the scriptures. Pride is a sin

And to whom were they given — the Catholic Church through all the authors.

What Bible was first printed by the Guttenberg press?

The Catholic Vulgate.

Look it up!

What Bible was first printed by the Guttenberg press?

And then what denomination attempted to stop the Bible from being printed in the local languages? The RCC.

We can play this game all night.

You've already displayed a lack of knowledge of the rosary and if it's to be worn or not.

“ And those are found in the Bible where exactly?

Catholics don’t rely on Scripture unless it supports our traditions.

“Catholics don’t rely on Scripture unless it supports our traditions.”

That is more than obvious. Some days it appears this goofy fool Pope doesn’t rely on Scripture at all.

Ever.
