I would hope so.
Heres a very unpleasant - but possible - scenario. We know the House Democrats hate Trump. So they decide to impeach Trump over some minor thing. That would be quite legal, as the Constitution gives the House the sole power to decide just what an impeachable offense is.
Then the Senate surprisingly convicts Trump. Too many GOP senators fold to Deep State pressure.
In this scenario, both the House and the Senate acted in a disgusting, yet legal and constitutional manner. What would the military do in that case? Would it be best for the country if they do nothing?
I think it is debatable whether the current House impeachment proceedings are actually legal as they are depriving The President the right of due process.

This is exactly the scenario that I fear most since the News media's job in all this is to stampede GOP senators toward the exits. It's happened before on various legislative issues so there is precedent for it. If this should come to pass, then I think you'd be lookinng at significant resignations from the officer corps in protest. But as the News media will be sympathetic to the coup, they won't report much of it. But they will report a significant rise in dismissals for "loss of command confidence" -- which will amout to the biggest purge of the officer corps since the Obama administration.
People think that our tiny military would have any effect on a general insurrection and/or civil war between states/factions and 330 MILLION citizens. Laughable.

A more pertinent question would be: What will you and I do in the face of blatant treason?
Nothing.
Would it be best for the country if they do nothing?Yes. Do you really want Generals second guessing the results of Congressional actions? The Impeachment bar is set high: 2/3 of the Senate to convict. If that bar is passed then the President must go, and the VP take his place. That's the law.
I can't imagine the U.S. Military standing with the President in such a situation.
Follow the orders of President Pence.
