Warren: 'Congress is complicit' by failing to start impeachment proceedings against Trump

Cedar Rapids, Iowa (CNN)Sen. Elizabeth Warren tweeted on Friday evening that "Congress is complicit" in failing to start impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump after the news broke that Trump had pressed Ukraine's President to investigate Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden's son, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Warren, who is running for President, first called for impeachment proceedings in April after she read special counsel Robert Mueller's report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Since then, she has repeatedly called for the House to begin impeachment proceedings but took it a step further Friday by calling Congress "complicit" in "failing to act."

"After the Mueller report, Congress had a duty to begin impeachment," she wrote in a tweet Friday evening. "By failing to act, Congress is complicit in Trump's latest attempt to solicit foreign interference to aid him in US elections. Do your constitutional duty and impeach the president."

I am not going to lose my cool this time.

It’s simple.

EVERY dem running for president is an enemy of the state and they ALL are driven by an insane HATRED of Trump.

Which he probably finds very amusing :)

Warren has one control knob. It is marked in gradients of “shrill, shriller, shrillest.”

Congress is only complicit in failing to do its Constitutional duties. Instead, it has been utterly dysfunctional by spending its time conducting a harassment campaign against the President.

If I had hired a team to conduct specific tasks, and instead, they decided to harass and intimidate people in a neighboring department, I’d fire them all. Unfortunately, we have a sizeable number of voters who don’t vote based on candidate qualifications, but on the candidates’ promises to give them perfect lives—something which no government has the ability to do.

Warren is a vicious, nasty and mendacious harridan who could very well be the Democrat nominee. She’s a major threat.

Despite Warnings Media Steps on a Rake With “Whistleblower” Story – Ukraine Government Initiated Contact – Giuliani Engagement Was Requested by State Dept. Officials…

CTH / September 21, 2019 by sundance

Well, well, well… the media cannot say President Trump didn’t try to warn them about throwing fake-news rakes in front of their narrative parade – then wondering why they keep getting black-eyes. Here we go, the details begin to surface.

With more reporting by John Solomon, cited and attributed to on-the-record officials in the State Department and Ukraine, a much more clear picture emerges. In reality, and unfortunately as expected, the fulsome picture is 180° divergent from the media narrative.

(The only way to get the Fake News MSM to cover the Biden/Ukraine corruption story was to wrap it inside a possible Trump scandal to make them swallow the bait.)

Lemme get this straight: it is good and proper for the Obama administration to investigate alleged criminal conduct by Russia on behalf of the Trump campaign but it is improper for the Trump administration to investigate alleged criminal activity by Biden in Ukraine.

A lot depends on what country you are talking about, I guess.

Plugs obstructed justice, and threatened to withhold US loan guarantees to the Ukraine unless they removed a prosecutor looking into Hunter Biden’s shady dealings.

Sen. Warren is stepping into a steaming pile of Biden/Obama poo.
