Apparently the problem is ultra-nationalism. The author uses a lot of quotes from dead Nazis to explain the case. So angry, deluded ultra-nationalists elected Trump. Because immigrants from India make tons of money in SW and white Americans drive Ubers to feed their families. Which makes America a fascist country. Or something.

Anybody that thinks the common white American watches soccer on a regular basis doesn’t know a thing about America.

I began to read this, and after a few lines, had a slight expectation that perhaps the article might be in line with the thought process described by Dinesh D'Souza in his excellent book "What's So Great About America"

Then I saw this line:

"...As I stepped out of my taxi, a fleet of cars, all high end, greeted me. They belonged to the guests. As I entered inside, I saw the Indian diaspora in its gorgeous best..."

Indian Diaspora? The term "diaspora" has acquired an extremely negative connotation when used by the Left (there's a surprise) and while the word simply means the movement of people from one area to another, it has taken on new meaning which is imbued with prejudice, racism, intolerance, sorrow, and misery.

So then, it was no surprise as I read further, to see the comparison of Jefferson and Lincoln favorably to Barack Obama, and Trump negatively towards all three.

Okay, got it.

In D'Souza's "What's So Great About America" it is a great book about what has made America great, and why it has been a magnet for people from everywhere. He makes various points in his book that illustrate the underlying positivity of Americanism:

And so on. This is my America, described by Dinesh D'Souza, the one that I know. Not the leftist, elitist one that the author of the article clearly wants to be part of.

This author thinks that white Americans voted for Donald Trump because we fear losing the majority to people like him.

We don't.

We fear losing our freedoms in this country to third world pieces of crap like him who come to this country to make his fortune and enjoy those same freedoms, but once those are obtained, people like him want to implement the worst of what they were trying to get away from in the first place when they left their native country.
