Firstly, no the average American certainly wouldnt be watching soccer.
LOL. You are dating yourself, there. Soccer and lacrosse to a lesser extent are booming. Football is dying outside of a few strongholds. It’s already gone in large swaths of the country. MLB has has in large part lost connection to the “average American” and now has a heavy Latin culture. The times they are changing. Good night.

Its not even close. The most popular sport in America is pro football. The 2nd most popular sport is college football. #3 is the NBA. #4 is high school football. Then comes Major League Baseball, college basketball is probably next then Hockey. Soccer is well below that. Quick! Who was last year's college national champ in soccer? Who the hell knows? Was it even televised? You're living in fantasy land if you think soccer is more than a blip on the radar in the American sports scene. It doesn't remotely compare to football.
You don’t know what your talking about.
Soccer just is nowhere near as popular in the USA compared to many other countries when it comes to television viewing, money, etc.
Lacrosse? ROFLMAO!
The NFL is still VERY popular despite the idiocy of Kaepernick and Co.
You need to get out more.
You missed th part where it was said For Decades....
Never mind. Didnt see the context of what you were replying to
I want some of what you are smoking. Go look at the attendance and TV rating numbers.
Ya, I wanna watch a sport that does THIS.
