The funny thing is, a lot of Americans already knew how to code. Then they were laid off and their severance packages hinged on training their H1B replacements from places like...India.

Now a few folks with no filter say White People can’t compete with them. Well, no duh, when elites bought you cheap and helped you over to be trained by the Americans you replaced.

Then the author convinces himself that the smart political move for the native-born is to go ultra-nationalist and elect a strong-man to put the brakes on the elites—but that this leads to fascism—which is the same as terrorism in his mind.

So, Americans are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

The article’s author can go take a flying leap and thank his lucky stars he can patronize Americans in America.

It was back in 1990 that, scanning the graduation programme for Illinois Institute of Technology, I noticed that most of the names receiving Master of Science degrees were Asian-sounding (Indian, Chinese), while most of those receiving Master of Business Administration were English or Northern European-sounding,

What the author of the article missed is that the (younger) Uber-driving student is likely to be the (older) Indian technologist's boss in the near future, and forever after.

The "whites" had moved on. Even then, a lot of the cushy computer programming jobs were (temporarily) filled by nerdy high-school graduates who found themselves enriched by going directly to employing their coding skills rather than "wasting" their first four to five years getting a broader-based college degree.

But their overall life strategy was short-sighted, wasn't it? Their degreed counterparts eventually were and still are the overall winners. And the goal posts are still moving.

White people can’t compete for software jobs with Indians because Indians are the most extremely racist people on earth and have seized control of the hiring processes here.

Full stop.

Talent wise Americans blow Indians out of the water and it’s not a close contest. Indians are terrible programmers in general, and that’s when they’re not faking their experience and credentials altogether.

The most attractive thing about Indian workers to US companies is their contentment with being placed in a status of indentured servitude and acceptance of vastly below-market wages if it gets them into the USA.

Considering the demand for coders, no. If they got laid off, they just got another job.

Whites have always competed well against foreigners; they are only here because their country sucks and Americans won’t breed. If they had a viable country, they wouldn’t even take jobs here. If we reproduced, we wouldn’t elect officials that even let them in to undercut American wages. There is no question individual Asians can be very bright, but it is no accident that so much tech innovation occurred in the West - or more specifically, the US.

Watching episodes of “Air Disasters”, it is very telling when these foreign countries retrieve black boxes from crashed planes they send them to civilized Western countries for analysis.

Well said.
