I’ve seen articles out of China saying Huawei expects to pass Samsung in smartphone sales volume, next year, but other non-Chinese sources say Samsung is way ahead.

It seems as though, with more and more countries at least partially blocking Huawei, passing Samsung would be difficult. Granted that the market inside China is huge.

My wife got a Huawei smart phone last week.

She got it free on “permanent loan” for testing and reviews. All she had to do was sign a paper so they don’t pay taxes on it.
