Dominic West believes a transgender actor should play James Bond.
The British star, who has often been linked to the iconic spy character, made the suggestion during an interview with the Sunday Times magazine published Sunday.
“Maybe a transgender Bond would be cool,” West said. “There’s a very cool woman who’s the wife of an actor in Colette, who is a captain in the electrical engineers, the highest ranking transgender soldier in the army.”
The soldier West is referring to is Hannah Graf, who has done two tours of Afghanistan and is married to trans actor Jake Graf.
“She’s a beautiful blonde girl who could be Bond, yes,” he added. “That’s actually a brilliant idea. They should have a transgender Bond because there are a lot of transgender people in the army.” He continued, “They’d be ideal because they can do everything. That’s a great idea! A transgender Bond.”...
