Political power couple Bill and Hillary Clinton are in Toronto today, spending a very special evening with their supporters to the north.

Toronto is part of the small handful of cities on their North American tour. The tour is a series of conversations called "An Evening With The Clintons" - guests are invited to buy tickets and sit down with the Clintons as they tell stories and discuss important issues of today and the future.

Awhile back someone was posting a link on some of the threads about the Clinton tour being cancelled, but it was “fake news” — turns out when you actually see the article that it was all speculation based upon the fact that the seats were not selling out. Well, the first tour date has arrived and it was not a sold out house, but that did NOT mean the event was cancelled. I really hate when “our side” creates its own fake news based upon wishful thinking:

If you are talking the GM plant closing, it is Oshawa, and has been Oshawa for over a century. The Oshawa Jr. A hockey team has been called the ‘Generals’ since 1937. Windsor was always Ford, though GM had a transmission plant there in the ‘60s and 70s.
