Why Hillary Clinton was right about white women – and their husbands (She means you ladies)
The Manchester Guardian ^ | September 25, 2017 | Lucia Graves

Hillary Clinton hoped to wear white on election night, a tribute to the suffragettes and the sweep of political history. Instead, as she wrote in her new book, the white suit stayed in her garment bag as she donned the gray and purple garment she had intended for her first trip to Washington as president-elect.

Given the opportunity to make history by electing the first female president, women didn’t take it. And ironically, the women who bore the most resemblance to Clinton – white, heterosexual and married – were less likely to vote for her.

Many had expected Clinton to rally women, the same way Barack Obama rallied black voters in 2008 – and if she had, she would have handily trumped Donald Trump. But while Obama won 95% of the black vote, Clinton won just 54% of women – a percentage point less than her male predecessor atop the Democratic ticket. Among white women in particular, she fared even worse: a slim majority voted for Trump....

If we are really going to win long term it means we will have to marry these damsels in distress. Go ahead. You first.

Already married. If the legalize polygamy I’ll think about it.

Many believe that Clinton has only one of the three listed attributes.

Dude, she’s not white! Remember she always keeps hot sauce in her purse. She’s practically trans-black!

Intelligent women (and men) vote for the person who they believe will represent and promote their interests the best. Sorry, Guardian, HRC couldn’t make a convincing case for herself with enough voters. Women have no obligation to vote for anyone just because a candidate is a woman. I don’t see the liberals making the argument that more women should have voted for McCain so that Sarah Palin could have become the first female vice president.

I have my own theory most non political people become conservative when they start to have families to worry about... there is a big difference between the 19 year old girl taking Jello shots at a sorority in college and a 25 year old mother who is worried about the fever her two year old has. conservatism tends to overtake those that have responsibilities in there life while those that care only about how it is going to effect then are liberal. a conservative realizes that there is a big difference between talk and action. a liberal thinks that if you have the right words you can change the meaning of the action.

I know LOTS of women who voted for Trump. ALL are strong women who are NOT dominated by their husbands or significant others. And I would also like to point out the old axiom ‘you will attract more bees with sugar than you will with vinegar’. These people are fishing in the wrong pond if they think insulting a HUGE percentage of women will bring more women to their side.

Dude, Obama did not "rally black voters". They voted democrat in the same percentages as they did before.

What he did was rally "white voters". Vote for me and never be accused of being racist again!

The Democrat party has never had a tight grip on the married white female voter. They tend to vote GOP. I know that will surprise a number of people. But the sex gap in voting is from the majority black females being able to vote while the majority of black males can not because they are felons.

And quite frankly married white females didn't care for Hillary! Neither did married black females. In fact, as a general rule older females did not like Hillary because she never did anything on her own.

They didn't like her because she was a liar.

They didn't like her attacking the women her husband raped.

They didn't like her because she had no loyalty to those who worked for her.

And they just plain did not like her.

She is not likable.

And she has failed miserably at every single job she has had.

The question is not, "Why didn't they vote for her?" but "Why WOULD they vote for her?"

They couldn't find a reason.

The percentage points are bogus in this, there was so much vote fraud, cut Cankles totals by 1/3, that is much closer to real numbers for her.

I voted for Trump. I don’t have a husband, and unlike Hillary, I didn’t compromise my values. I got rid of the lying, philandering butt-munch 38 years ago, and never looked back.

She really is ignorant. I know multiple black women who voted for Trump. All teachers. Weak or nonexistent husbands. They love Trump. They loved Reagan. They believe in God. They are boycotting the NFL. And they descended from slaves! They hate the Democrat plantation. I’m sure they love their neighborhood police officers as well.

Perhaps in non liberal enclaves. But in places like Oregon, California, Washington I’ve met tons of responsible families that are as left as they come.

The title confuses me. By “white women” does it mean “people without a penis”? Or did pajama boy vote against Hillary?

If the title means what I initially read, I have to wonder:
if “penis status” doesn’t matter to liberals, why are they so obsessed with whether or not Hillary voters have a penis?
Having a penis should NOT influence which bathroom you use, but SHOULD determine who you vote for?

WHAT is to like about Hillary.
WHAT is to like in Hillary?

She is crass.
She is bossy.
She is boring.
She is not a good speaker.

She is not attractive.
She is not friendly.
She is not personable.
She is not interesting.
She is not authentic.

Poor Old Hill - just can’t accept the fact that another woman might not like her. Hope she keep it up. Democrats need to alienate as many potential voters as possible.

“... women getting pressure from men in their lives...”

Maybe I’m the only WHITE FEMALE who will say this (other than my sister Freepers, of course) but Dear Hilary, before pointing the “stop being controlled by men” finger at white women.. look in the mirror. You are the one who stood by a cheating, lying, stealing man all these years even after he embarrassed you and your daughter with the Monica Lewinsky scandal. After he left office, you had the opportunity to show women that you can stand on your own two feet (especially with higher education degrees). But you “stood by your man” and many, MANY women I know (R, D, and Libertarian) saw this as pathetic and weak. Commander in Chief position doesn’t need someone pathetic and weak.
