President Donald Trump's relationship with the LGBT community is complicated.
During last year's election Trump positioned himself as a pro-LGBT Republican. On the campaign trail Trump promised he'd be "better for the gays" than his 2016 election opponent Hillary Clinton. The president even made history by mentioning LGBT issues during his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.
But since Trump took office many voices in the community say their rights and livelihood have come under fire.
"We are at war," Ken Kidd, an organizer with direct action group Rise and Resist, tells AOL.com.
"We are under siege. They picked a fight with us and Republicans would love nothing more than for us to retrench and go backward."(continued)

The White House should really tone down its rhetoric.
We really do not give an obama where you choose to get boinked and who or what you chose to boink.

Trump is probably more open to LGBT issues than most conservatives, but the national LGBT leadership isn’t about LGBT issues any more than the feminist movement is about women’s rights, or the labor unions are about the concerns of the working man.
The national LGBT movement like all of the other is just another organ of the leftist communists.
What did the President, or Executive branch do? I must have missed whatever it is these cats are all pissed-off about.
They act like they want to be “equal”. Would that not mean no special rights? They don’t want equality, they want fawning attention to legetimize their disorder.
They didn’t do something special for their “pride month” - like Bathhouse Barry always did.
Why?
What? The promise to take care of jihadis. Guys that are at war with us? It is the leftistsame who have their heads up their butts so hard they wish to deny real threats to national security, much less themselves. The fact that they would want the entire nation to fail because their side lost is telling.
