Someone who says “I can’t really regret what I did because it’s made me who I am today” probably doesn’t know that forgiveness only comes with repentance.

I've met someone who talks like that.

I was alarmed by it.

But this guy tends to not take blame for anything.

If he offends someone, it's their fault for being offended.

He'd give you the shirt off his back but when it comes to taking responsibility for his actions, it just isn't there.

I don’t want to judge if someone is righteous or spiritual enough, or repentant enough, but when they become a preacher they take on extra responsibility. It’s what they teach others that becomes the issue.
