A protester has been arrested after he tried to rush the stage while Donald Trump was speaking during a rally Saturday morning in Dayton, Ohio, authorities say. Thomas Dimassimo was charged with disorderly conduct and inducing panic, according to Montgomery County Jail records.
Dimassimo was released from custody and is due in court on Monday. His age is listed as 32, but it is not clear if that is correct. His social media pages and public records indicate he was born in 1993, not 1983.
Video, which you can watch above, show a man being taken down by Secret Service agents as Trump spoke at Dayton International Airport.
The incident came a day after protesters caused Trump to cancel a rally in Chicago.

He’s a failed assassin. Big football player physique and he rushes an older man. Could have done terrible damage. Thank the Lord that Mr. Trump is in great physical shape and had alert reflexes when the attempt occurred. What if someone rushes any other candidate this way, God forbid. Will the media play up the attacker as a brave committed dissident? People get seven years in jail for writing a threatening letter to the President, in a recent case, and rightly so. This guy should get serious jail time. We must protect all public officials, candidates and the Secret Service.
Trump’s reaction wasn’t to cower but to go after the guy. I am impressed.
I’m not a Trump fan, but I was impressed too. It is crazy that this guy is out on bail already. Hopefully he shows up at another Trump rally so they can put him away for a longer time. I read his stuff on twitter, his photo and verbiage - I think he was trying to come off as part black and all “gansta”. Some serious issues the punk has.

CL’s Maggie Lee has a full report from Mayor Kasim Reed’s press conference his morning. APD and GSP have provide CL full lists of the 26 people arrested. We’ve included their names and charges after the jump. A judge has dismissed charges against both journalists who were arrested.
