If there was anything at all to the Obama eligibility issue, the Republicans in the House of Representatives would have held hearings on it since they took control in 2011. There has never been a single congressional hearing on Obama’s birth certificate or his natural born citizen status and the Republican majority has investigated anything and everything that Obama has done including holding his Attorney General, Eric Holder in Contempt of Congress.
Why no eligibility hearings in the House? Because the Tea Party conservatives there refuse to be duped.

‘Why no eligibility hearings in the House? Because the Tea Party conservatives there refuse to be duped.’

Really, NG? Really???

As a conservative, [wink wink] this is the best you can do?

If this is what you’re trying to put out there (i.e.: that you’re a conservative, but this is the best explanation you can conceive of) I have news for you. The act isn’t working.

Let me illustrate what I mean. I went on a liberal site one time, & raised a couple of commonsense, immanently reasonable eligibility issues. The first, the very first, responder ignored the content of what I wrote completely. Just sidestepped it like it wasn’t there. Instead, what she said was, ‘I can think of only one reason you would question Obama’s eligibility. Racism.’

Yes, that really happened. The poor woman probably never had a high IQ. Then she flushed whatever it was she did have down the toilet of knee-jerk far-left political correctness. In the end, her critical rational thinking skills came in dead even with those of a houseplant.

You, I am sorry to say, are exhibiting the same syndrome. I doubt you were stupid to begin with. But somewhere along the way you trained yourself to think like a leftist/prog exclusively. Warning: that is dangerous to your IQ. Pretty soon, you start sounding, I regret to say, stupid.

Now try for just one moment to break out of the mold. Try, even if it hurts, to think objectively. Is there just possibly, maybe, perhaps, a long-shot chance that your explanation is idiotic? Is there, iow, not a far more likely & obvious reason the hearings you mention have not been held?

Cudgel your brains. Try hard. Try really hard. See what you can come up with. I’m rooting for you. I don’t think you’re at the level of a potted plant, at least not yet. I believe you can still reason if you give it your effort. So try. Then share what you come up with. I’ll be all eyes/ears.

That is utterly stupid logic. You assume that you know the motivation of others. It is exactly like saying "If there was anything to this, Hillary would have used it." Which is also utterly stupid logic.

Republicans won't even demand a balanced budget. They are absolutely terrified the media will portray them as "Racist" or something. They roll over like lapdogs because the real power in this nation is the ability to influence the masses, especially the stupider ones.

You posit one possible reason for them failing to act, when the reality is that there are plenty of other possible reasons for them sitting on their @$$. They seemingly do it with everything else too. (Benghazi, IRS gate, Fast and Furious.)

The Republicans in congress are cowed, and getting them to do ANYTHING is difficult. Their failure to DO SOMETHING is not proof that the issue has no import or evidence. It merely proves that they are consistent in their response to any Obama scandal.

Going after the president is something you don`t do unless you have solid evidence and know that you have plenty of support.

It would be like a store clerk going against the mafia, besides remember the O.J Simpson trail?

No, they don`t refuse to be duped, they just don`t want to waste time on evidence that no one can agree is evidence.
