There is no basis for a lawsuit, especially in Texas.
The perps were obligated to stop, and placed their own lives at risk by running.
The basis of the lawsuit will be Walmart's overly aggressive pursuit of the motor vehicle with 2 young children in it. Everybody else in there may be a professional thief, but it's likely their pockets aren't very deep ~ but Walmart's are.
I see the lawyers lining up for this one ~ 'cause it's PAYDAY!
