I’m surprised that more did not disobey orders than General Ham. Or will that come out later? Surely those in positions and of a mind and heart to ACT are even more furious about this than we are, knowing all the nonsense that was going on! ...and that is still going on, as we see here. Where are they all?

It’s much more than disobeying orders! It is simply honor and integrity and it seems that few have it anymore!

How can you expect anything else from the military - have we come so far that even they no longer comply with decency! Have we lost all hope?

I am not sure Gen. Ham did disobey orders. That is an unsupported rumor so far. It isn’t good for anyone in the military to disobey orders. There is of course a point where that would become a moral imperative. But it is, or should be, a very high threshold to cross and would most likely be a very costly decision to make no matter how clear the moral imperative was. And not just personally. When an officer disobeys orders there will be consequences for many especially those under his command.
