I love it when a so-called "journalist" uses a private conversation that no one else can verify one way or the other to make a point. That's usually called fiction writing.

I have a really bad feeling about things.

1) Maybe the Democrats plan massive fraud, and so they need to pump up the "conventional wisdom" so that Romney's loss is not seen as "odd".
2) Maybe they have internal polls that actually make them believe that Obama cannot lose.
3) Maybe they know full well that they will lose, and they want to convince a lot of people that any loss is a sure sign that the Republicans have somehow staged a coup and that Obama should hold on to the office no matter what.

This is going to get ugly.

Yeah, I see that as a possible, desperate strategy. But it seems like betting your life savings on a poker hand of 2-3--5-6 and hoping to draw a 4. It might happen, but it probably won't.

If the media keeps shouting that Romney's campaign is a disaster, and if Romney ends up winning by 10 points, aren't people going to start noticing that the media isn't in the news business any more? It's just a propaganda wing for the Dems. I would think that the media should be trying to cover their tracks right about now -- but instead, they seem to be going "all-in".

According to my source with access to these talks, the clear implication is that early in his second term Obama will bring the nuclear crisis with Iran to an end by politics and diplomacy.

Not surprised at all that a reporter from Al-Jazeera would have a source who has access to these talks. Liars lying to each other so they can then lie to the American public.

I'm in Memphis...MEMPHIS...predominantly black. In the past 6 weeks I have seen two Purple Lipped Prince bumper stickers and, one yard sign in my neighborhood...Last election they were everywhere long before now.

I still see no way Obama can win (short of massive fraud). The last election was the most overhyped election in history with the “historicness” of it. Even with the messianic campaign with zombies shambling the street uttering “hooope....chaaaange.....hooooope....chaaange”, with the media in full in tank mode, with small children singing “mmm mmmm mmmm”, even with the lamest republican candidate in history with even republicans in fatigue from 8 years of non-stop bush bashing in the news media, even after all that and much much much more, Obummer only got 52% of the vote. Does anybody really believe that after 4 straight years of unemployment, deficits, corruption, cronyism, middle east on fire, high gas prices, and all the rest, that at least 3% of the population will change their mind, and another percent just won’t vote because the “cool” is gone?
