Why Romney is going down isn’t because of his “tough stances” on immigration, illegals, or anything else. It is his total lack of TOUGH and CONSISTENT stances on ANYTHING AT ALL...

Why did conservatives push for someone who has no inner compass for conservative values? People may get upset at a certain policy or position that may not favor them personally, but they will respect someone who takes that position unapologetically, and doesn’t waiver with the political winds.

We have tough, smart consistent political voices among conservatives... why haven’t they been supported by the Repubs? I don’t want to whine, but at the moment am not in a good mood. Maybe later...

To answer your question, “Conservatives” did not Vote for Romney in the Primaries. Republicans Voted for Romney and he is the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee.

If you are asking why “Conservatives” will support Romney now, the obvious answer is the alternative choice is Pharaoh Obama. Four more years of the Commie Bastard and the Republic will never recover. The Supreme Court will be lost for Generations and the Welfare State that we have all railed against our entire lives will be the new norm.

There will be no magic Conservative groundswell in 2016 should Obama win Reelection as some here predict. If we can't beat someone like Obama now, welcome to the new and improved USSA...
