God is powerful enough to do whatever he wants. But the question remains unanswered IF he is doing so or if this is all ‘hopeful’ thinking on the ABOers part.

When one has to rationalize their vote for a liberal abortion/homo supporting liar by using God to do it, they should perhaps rethink their position.

Thank you for your answer. I have no problem with questions about God's plan going unanswered, I trust Him to know that His plan is correct whatever it is. All I can do as a Christian is read the Bible, pray that He aligns my will to His, and try to discern the path He wants me to follow.

Doing so tells me that all men but Jesus are imperfect so all elections will be a choice between lesser evils. We are told to render to Ceaser what is his, so we are not to deliberately oppose a government simply because it is not Christian. We are also instructed to invest our talents wisely for the most profit for our Master. I do so by always voting for the candidates that I believe are mostly likely to lessen evil in our world.

Regarding "using God" to rationalize my vote, I try to follow God's wishes in ALL that I do. I will keep praying about it, though, and will continue to pray that Romney sees the truth and is saved.

Tamzee, God already knows who wins this race. Either the events that are to come will hasten the return of His Kingdom, or it will spare us a few more years to save souls.

Either way, God wins. I pray that all Christians understand this. We have a responsibility to act - but only in His will.

We have come to a point in this nation where we are forced to choose the lesser of two evils - or we can choose to abstain, or vote for a lesser candidate. I don’t think we should take our vote lightly nor out of fear. God’s will will be done.

Serious question: Do you believe that God is undertaking some Machivelian roundabout course here that we should try to divine, or do you believe that it is a more rational idea to leave God to his business and follow his clearly written instruction manual? Because in my readings of the book, nowhere does it say we should do anything but follow his instructions. Empowering Sodomy/baby killing et all is 100% opposite of what the Bible instructs.

Vote as you like. And live with the consequences.
